Bangkok--7 Jun--OmiseGO
Neutrino is ramping up its presence in Southeast Asia with a second debut in Singapore. Following the launch of its very first location earlier this year in Tokyo, Neutrino, a blockchain specialized co-working space by OmiseGO today announced its partnership in Singapore with The Great Room and Global Brain. Neutrino Singapore @ The Great Room has opened its doors and welcomes blockchain engineers, innovators and entrepreneurs to the space.
Despite its burgeoning growth over the past couple of years, blockchain technology today is still far from mainstream public adoption. This is mainly due to limited collaboration between blockchain entrepreneurs themselves, and the lack of involvement from the business, education, marketing and regulatory sectors.
Neutrino Singapore @ The Great Room will not only house blockchain-based projects, but also host community events and developer meet-ups to educate people with the technology. Neutrino is a global network of co-working spaces where members can utilize all the Neutrino office around the world and tap into the knowledge and expertise of that blockchain community. "The key goal behind setting up Neutrino is to facilitate an environment where community members can drive innovation, and collaborate and experiment together as blockchain technology evolves." said Nick Gan, Omise's Country Manager for Singapore.
"Singapore is a prime location for the very first Neutrino to launch in Southeast Asia. With the country's forward-looking Smart Nation drive together with Neutrino's strong connections with key innovators in the blockchain space, we are confident that this initiative will help companies harness the power of networks and connect internationally." added Nick.
Centrally located at The Great Room Centennial Tower, Neutrino Singapore offers a world-class co-working space featuring dedicated office space, hot desks, meeting rooms, and an event space which can accommodate up to 150 people. It's an easy commute from the MRT, and has an in- house cafe which serves light refreshments. Among the early members is Electrify.Asia, a retail electricity marketplace in Southeast-Asia.
"At the heart of Electrify.Asia lies a desire to participate in the creation and sharing of knowledge between communities. We relish the opportunity to make a significant contribution to Neutrino and the blockchain community as a whole. Beneath the fanfare around blockchain technology is a need for real work to take place. This represents Electrify.Asia's commitment to driving the continued development of blockchain and accelerating its accessibility to all." said Electrify.Asia's CEO, Julius Tan.
