EMBASSY OF MALAYSIA AND TOURISM MALAYSIA ORGANIZE ANNOUNCEMENT CEREMONY OF WINNERS “NAK SUK SA PAI MALAYSIA ADVENTURE 2018 ESSAY WRITING CONTEST”

Bangkok--9 Jul--asialife Revering to The Embassy of Malaysia in Bangkok launched an essay writing contest on 3 May 2018 in celebration of the 60th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Malaysia and Thailand, H.E. Dato' Jojie Samuel, Ambassador of Malaysia to Thailand, announced the two grand prize winners and the three consolation prize winners of the "Nak Suk Sa Pai Malaysia Adventure 2018" Essay Writing Contest on 6 July 2018 at the Embassy of Malaysia in Bangkok. The two winners for the grand prizes of return air tickets Bangkok-Kuala Lumpur-Bangkok, with a 3-day-2-night accommodation and tour packages are: Ms Praewphan Rakkhito and Mr Uprachit Ruamsup, both from Chulalongkorn University. The three consolation prize winners of return air tickets Bangkok-Penang-Bangkok are Ms Chontiwa Chanroensri from King Mongkut's University of Technology North Bangkok; Ms Kanyavee Jongjitsumran from Thai-Nichi Institute of Technology and Ms Paweenutchama Somkhuan from Silpakorn University. The lucky winners shared their winning entries with the Malaysian and Thai media before they were presented with prizes by H.E. Dato' Jojie Samuel, Ambassador of Malaysia to Thailand with the generous sponsors. The exciting essay writing contest, with the collaboration of Malaysian Airlines (MAS) and Tourism Malaysia as the main sponsors, was supported by Education Malaysia, the Ministry of Education of Thailand, the Office of the Higher Education Commission of Thailand, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Thailand, and Conceptual Events Worldwide Co. Ltd. H.E. Dato' Jojie Samuel, Ambassador of Malaysia to Thailand, expressed his gratitude to the Thai university students who participated in the essay writing contest. With the total submission of 225 essay entries to the Thai youth, awareness among the younger generation of Thai travellers about Malaysia is certainly and positively enhanced. H.E. Dato' Jojie Samuel, Ambassador of Malaysia to Thailand, wished all the winners of "Nak Suk Sa Pai Malaysia Adventure 2018" to enjoy and explore the best of Malaysia and also invited all Thais to have their very own memorable Malaysian adventure.
