Bastille Day, otherwise known as "Le 14 Juillet", is France's National Day celebrated on the 14th of July each year. It is the anniversary of the Storming of Bastille, which was a massive turning point during the French Revolution. In 1790, one year after the Storming of Bastille, the French celebrated peace and unity at the Fete de la Federation through a huge four-day feast, fireworks and tons of fine wine!
To this day, the French still celebrate le 14 Juillet.
