BLAND digs deep for the water management and drainage improvement project in 2017-2018, 70 million baht was spent to reassure Muang Thong Thani community of no flooding and to facilitate visitors at the IMPACT Arena, Exhibition and Convention Center, Muang Thong Thani during the rainy season until the second half of the year. The continuing work inside the Muang Thong Thani area started in the beginning of April and is expected to be completed at the end of this year.
"Managing water drainage and preventing flooding in Muang Thong Thani property is an important item on our agenda. The Company has always been determined to save our residents and visitors of the exhibition and convention center from the undrained water and flooding problems caused by the slow drainage of water under the persistent downpour of rain. The Company has been tackling this issue since last year to clear out all the drains around Muang Thong Thani, including Lake View Condominium, Bond Street, Sukhothai Ave., BEEHIVE Lifestyle Mall, Popular Condo, Lookgolf Village, and the area behind Sukhothai Thammathirat University. We have also looked into improving the drain pipes for better drainage. Water pumps will also be installed at the Victoria-Sun Moon Lake Tower. Ditch dredging will be done for up to 6 kilometers along the route toward Tiwanon Road.
In addition, the Company has allocated personnel to keep a careful eye and stay updated on the news. We are confident that this operation will help us handle the flooding situation efficiently. I would like to reassure our residents and customers that the Company will provide you with comfort and convenience as always.
