SCG announced its partnership with "Boonthavorn," the leading and large-scale home decorating retailer to enhance retail business and power distribution network. The partnership will unveil a new home retailer brand that provides customers with a variety of designs of interior and exterior decorating products with full and integrated high-quality services from consultation, design to installation.
Mr. Nithi Patarachoke, Vice President - Building Products and Distribution Business, Cement-Building Materials Business, SCG, revealed, "SCG found that customers gives priority on stylish and personalized designs while facing an inadequate amount of quality designers and installers. We entered into a joint-venture with Boonthavorn Group to establish a new company to operate a specialized retailer, which offers a wide range of interior and exterior design products with design and installation services by proficient designers and installers. Strengthening distribution networks with franchise expansion plans nationwide, customers can enjoy one-stop shopping for home decorating items ranging from roof, ceiling, tiles, bathroom to kitchen in a comfortable and modern environment."
The new joint venture has registered capital of 380 MB. The shareholding between SCG and Boonthavorn Group is 51% and 49% respectively. The retail store is expected to open in the first quarter of 2019, which is typically a strong demand period for home decorating products and services.
