Bangkok Bank Senior Executive Vice President and Co-Head of International Banking Group & Manager, International BranchDivision, Chaiyarit Anuchitworawong (4th from left) and Bangkok Bank Assistant Vice President and Branch Manager of Vientiane Branch, Lao PDR Chadaphorn Uratchat (3rd from left) handed over a donation totaling Baht 9,941,757.56 (nine million nine hundred forty one thousand seven hundred fifty seven baht and fifty six satang) to Khampheng Saysompheng, Minister of Labor and Social Welfare of Lao PDR (4th from right), on behalf of the Prime Minister of Lao PDR. Kiattikun Chartprasert, Thai Ambassador to Lao PDR (center), presided over the donation presentation ceremony to help flood victims in Attapeu Province and Champasak Province, Lao PDR. Donations came from "Helping Flood Victims in Lao PDR" bank account number 101-3-47900-9 opened by the bank to receive donations from customers and the general public totaling 15,514 transactions worth Baht 7,941,757.56. Bangkok Bank also donated Baht 2,000,000.00. This is another example of the bank using its financial channels to collect donations. In addition, the bank made it convenient for donors by waiving all fund transfer fees.
