Mrs. Warangkana Wongkhaluang (right), Senior Executive Vice President of Export-Import Bank of Thailand (EXIM Thailand), recently congratulates Mr. Sumate Tanthuwanit (left), Managing Director and President of Regional Container Lines Public Company Limited (RCL), in a ceremony to inaugurate Jaru Bhum Vessel, a brand-new Thai-flagged container ship with a capacity of 1,668 TEUs at Bangkok Port. The ship was built in China and sailed directly to Bangkok right after construction completion for merchandise shipping between Bangkok, and Laem Chabang ports to facilitate trade activities in the Eastern Economic Corridor (EEC), and linking further with ports in the Philippines, Indonesia and Brunei, helping to promote Thailand's Laem Chabang Port as the ASEAN's regional logistics hub.
