The "Asia's Most Trusted Brand 2018" award is from IBC InfoMedia, a division of International Brand Consulting Corporation, USA, which awards Asia's 50 most trusted brands based on over 100,000 consumer votes in 10 countries across Asia including Japan, South Korea, India, Sri Lanka, the United Arab Emirates, Indonesia, the Philippines, and Singapore. IBC uses three parameters to analyze and evaluate the votes: 1) Top-of-mind awareness (the first brand mentioned by respondents when they hear a product category); 2) Last used (the last brand used or consumed by respondents in one re-purchase cycle); and 3) Future intention (the brand that respondents intend to use or consume in the future). All of the brands that received an award are experiencing rapid growth and play a significant role in strengthening the Asian economy.
