Wishbeer, Thailand's number one e-Commerce store for imported beverages, has announced its participation on The Stock Exchange of Thailand's (SET) new LIVE service, providing investors with a crowdfunding platform and allowing users to trades securities OTC.
LIVE, launched in May 2018, is SET's equity crowdfunding platform aiming to standardize the process and offer startups and SMEs opportunities to expand their business and find investors to support the growth of their company.
Wishbeer's omnichannel business is a prime candidate for the innovative platform. Twice-awarded as Thailand's most promising startup at the Top 100 APAC, in both 2014 and 2018, is the largest ecommerce platform (wishbeer.com) for imported beverages in the country and has a mobile app and four craft beer bars across the city, at Sukhumvit 67, The Street Ratchada, Thonglor and Charoen Nakhon.

Its goal is to raise a minimum of THB 20 million with 7,290 shares at THB 2,743 per share. Shares can be traded once the crowdfunding campaign is complete. With this investment, Wishbeer will expand its operations to a range of areas, which includes growing its online retail, developing wholesale, as well as putting more focus on Wishbeer's food & beverage concepts and franchising. Given the strong interest to open Wishbeer franchises throughout Thailand, the company is looking forward to launching 10 new outlets nationwide over the next 12 months. In addition, the investment will also be utilized to further develop its mobile platform to reinforce synergies between its offline F&B business and its online e-commerce ecosystems. Wishbeer is building Big Beer Data and ultimately focuses on improving customer experience through technology.

"Beer is a dynamic US$20 billion market in Southeast Asia. It's the largest and fastest-growing market for the beverage globally and, in the 5 years, since we launched, we've cornered the market on craft beers, both on and offline. We have a strong focus on customer experience, which has helped us nurture a community in Thailand. With LIVE, we see an opportunity to further our reach and help us provide the products, marketing and education needed to take Thailand's craft beverage industry to the next level," says Jerome Le Louer, Founder & CEO, Wishbeer.
