Siam Gypsum (also known as USG Boral Thailand), a leading innovator of plasterboards, manufacturing and supplying building solutions, recently took home the Green Industry Award at the Green Industry Forum Seminar.
The award was presented by Mr. Suthon Nikomkate, Deputy Secretary-General of the Office of Industrial Product Standards, Ministry of Industry (right), to Mr. Wuttichai Ponmanop, Factory Management Manager, Siam Gypsum (left).
The seminar encourages industrial enterprises to reduce their negative impact on the environment via efficient and sustainable use of resources.
The Green Industry Award is a testament of Siam Gypsum's sustained commitment to being environment-friendly through focusing on three core issues:
1. Development and improvement of production processes
2. Continuous improvement of environmental management
3. Internal and external social and environmental responsibility, to meet the needs of the customers and also grow sustainably.
Siam Gypsum has two plasterboard plants in Saraburi and one plasterboard plant in Songkla.
