Bangkok--22 Oct--Pathumwan Princess Hotel
Thailand's International Culinary Cup (TICC) is the country's largest and longest running international culinary arts competition. This year, the 24th edition was held in September at BITEC, Bangna, where junior chefs from over 40 hotels and restaurants across Thailand came together to compete in a number of categories. Pathumwan Princess Hotel has been an enthusiastic supporter of the event for many years, and this year no fewer than 13 of our juniors were there to show off their talents.
Judging is based on a number of criteria - Creativity, Teamwork, Presentation and Ingredients Quality - all aspects that the hotel emphasizes in its training programs; it is this training, we believe, has helped our staff perform extremely well at this event, with this year being no exception.
Pride of place goes to Nonticha Sangpitak, Pornpimon Lamsam-Ang and Sutijane Parpanwong who won the Gold Medal in the "Freestyle 3-Course Menu" Group Competition, with other highly notable achievements including:
Silver Medal - Fruit & Vegetable Carving Team
Silver Medal - Classic Thai Cuisine
Bronze Medal - World Street Food
Bronze Medal - Burger Innovation
Congratulations, not just to our medal winners, but to everyone who participated in the competition!
