Police General Hospital selected CPF to serve inpatient foods

Bangkok--25 Oct--CPF Charoen Pokphand Foods PCL (CPF) announced that Police General Hospital has chosen the company as an official food service provider for the hospital's inpatients, starting from this month. Mr. Amorn Umpairungruang, Vice President of CPF Restaurant and Food Chain, a subsidiary of CPF, stressed that high nutritious food plays a vital role in patient's recovery process. CPF strives to deliver hygienic, nutritious and tasty foods to all inpatients at the hospital, using its expertise in food business. The company aims at setting the new standard for food service at public hospitals with excellent quality and food safety. "Police General Hospital is the first public hospital to use our food service. However, we have been providing food services for several private hospitals." Mr. Amorn added "We are looking forward to provide healthier choices for the patient's recovery," he added. CPF's nutritionists are working closely with the doctors to make healthy and quality foods. The company offers all types of patient food such as postpartum diets, children diets and therapeutic diets. In addition, the company's Quality Assurance team will supervise quality of food and service at the hospital to ensure a pleasant experience of patients and guests.
