Bangkok--May 3--MDK Consultants (Thailand)
JobsDB.com has been named as the best e-recruitment website in the Asia-Pacific. The source that granted the title is Systems of Changes a Singapore-based marketing consultant. The consultancy surveyed thousands of online jobseekers from Pac Rim ranging across the Asia Pacific Region.
“This survey franks that JobsDB is satisfying its customers,” said JobsDB (Thailand) general manager Andrew Norman. “It also proves that JobsDB is continuing to develop its services for the tens of thousands of JobsDB users in this part of the world.”
“We will not give up the title of number one online job matchmaker easily,” he added.
The independent survey, conducted between December 1999 and February 2000, was first posted on marketing.com during the first quarter this year.
JobsDB was ranked number one in both employer and employee categories. The criteria for leading e-recruitment site were: highest number of jobs posted monthly, best opportunities offered for a new job, best attitudes displayed by employers and job seekers, quickest average time for a job seeker to find a job, quicket time for an employer to find a candidate, the most cost-effective recruitment process, and the best overall services and facilities.
Systems of Changes is a marketing and management Research & Consultants located in Singapore. Its next e-recruitment survey for Asia-Pacific will be electronically published in June.
Mr Norman believes that competition in the e-recruitment industry regionally will be even more intense in the future because “newcomers are continually entering the market and starting up aggressive marketing campaigns”.
But, he said, proactive strategies and partner alliances will ensure JobsDB maintains its pole position. “As this survey shows, JobsDB is committed to offering the best e-recruitment solution, no matter what the competition.”
JobsDB has most recently established offices in Taiwan, Indonesia and India and will expand to South Korea, China, Japan, Australia, UK and the US before the end of the second quarter.
JobsDB (Thailand) was launched last September 22. It hosts over 15,000 job-seeking members, 1,900 corporate members, 8,000 resumes, 900 daily resumes submissions and 8,000 visitors a day.
