Facebook Thailand organized 'Facebook for Creators' - a workshop designed to help video creators manage their presence, engage the community better and understand monetization. The workshop is part of a #fbcreators series Facebook organizes for creators communities in APAC region from Indonesia, Korea, Taiwan, Vietnam, etc. The June Bangkok workshop tapped into the entertainment sector and attracted almost 100 creators in Thailand including Kalamare, Na Nek, Ann Alicha, Puri, Aom Piyada, Ple Nakorn and many more.
The 'Facebook for Creators' Thailand workshop shared updates and a range of tools and experiences on Facebook Watch as well as the best practices for Thai creators to connect with fans through video. "We are committing to supporting Thai creators on their journey and help them connect with their fans and build their businesses more effectively. Thailand is seeing a bustling and vibrant VDO community and considered one of the top Facebook Watch countries in this region so we are very happy to kick off the workshop and help Thai creators build more engagement through video and connect with their fans in a meaningful way." said Jenny Li, Facebook's Head of APAC Creators, Entertainment Partnerships.
The workshop highlights some of Facebook Watch features including the monetization products we're building:
- Watch Party this lets you bring your friends and community to watch videos together in a real-time manner in a designated group they join, including LIVE broadcast or videos that have been recorded or shared from other pages. During the length of the broadcast, users can interact via comments to exchange ideas with one another.
- Video Poll - It's an activity that allows voting in a video content to increase accessibility and create fun engagement for followers
- Premiere the feature enables notification for users to watch the video and helps create hype for video contents instead of simply posting about it. This allows exclusive posts with sessions available like a movie showing.
- Ad Breaks for More Creators: Creators can join our Ad Breaks program to help creators who are creating longer, original content that brings people back and fosters a loyal community.
