GM CEO/President Inaugurates 1st Saab-Chevrolet Dealership

Bangkok--May 19-- Lintas (Thailand)
Mr. G. Richard Wagoner (second from right), CEO-elect and President of General Motors Corporation, recently presided at the inauguration of the first Saab-Chevrolet dealership, Thailand's and the world's first combined Saab-Chevrolet dealership under the operation of Auto Technic (Thailand) Ltd. Present at the ceremony were Mr. Makoto Mikoshiba (second from left), President of Auto Technic (Thailand) Co.,Ltd.; Mr. Goro Shintani (far left), President of Tri-Petch Isuzu Sales; and Mr. Takashi Kanakoki (far right) Division COO, Motor Vehicle Division of Mitsubishi Corporation Japan. GM owns 100 percent of Saab's global automotive operations, while Auto Technic is Saab's exclusive authorized distributor in Thailand. Later this year, Auto Technic will add two additional joint Saab-Chevrolet showrooms and service centers. Aside from Chevrolet and Saab customers, all current Opel owners are also encouraged to make use of these new facilities.
