Ascott International Management (Thailand) has partnered with Save the Children, the world's leading independent organization for children in support of their Drowning Prevention Campaign. Drowning is the second cause of death for Thai Children, killing approximately 1,000 kids each year under the age of 15 years.
As part of their fundraising initiative, Ascott is conducting the Ascott Virtual Run 2019, where all proceeds from the event will be donated to supporting school children learning to swim.
Ascott Virtual Run 2019 is taking place during the month of September 2019. The registration fee is only THB 499 per person with a targeted distance of 50 kms. Participants can walk, jog or run anywhere, anytime during the month of September. Every registrant will receive a T-shirt and for completing the 50 kms, a medal will also be awarded.
Ascott will be hosting The Award Presentation Event on the 5th of October 2019 at Somerset Park Suanplu. Registrants who complete the 50 kms and register at Somerset Park Suanplu on the 5th of October, will go in the draw for a chance to win a Garmin watch valued at THB 11,990 and 50 great prizes including complimentary stays at Ascott Thailand properties, dining vouchers and sporting accessories.
