Stunning with over 30 rarely exquisite hand-knotted Persian carpets worth more than 50 million baht at the Bangkok Persian Carpet Exhibition 2019, organized by Art on da Floor, a community of collectors led by Jitrakorn Mongkholtham, on 3rd floor of the River City Bangkok from 17 October – 24 November 2019.
Under the theme "Persian Carpet and Your Lifestyle", the splendid show will describe how to mix traditional rugs with your modern home decor and lifestyle in different concepts including living room, hi-end audio room and your favorite corners.
Highlight of the exhibition will be Persian Carpet "Amoghli", an elaborate colors and artistic design made of 100% fine wool by Amoghli family, one of the best top three weaving families in Iran, who produced and designed for Iranian royal palace. The highlighting piece worth more than 10 million baht used to be installed in the royal palace.
Also visitors will have a chance to see the antique custom-made grand piano by Steinway and Sons worth 10 million baht, in harmony with valuable Persian rugs. In addition, the show will feature a comparison between the unique of Thai silks and Persian Carpets in various periods which both represent its own unique and treasure of the country.
