Siam Styrene Monomer Co., Ltd. (SSMC), a joint venture between Dow (NYSE: DOW) and SCG Chemicals, a subsidiary of the Siam Cement Group (SET: SCC), since 2009, today announces an adjustment of capital structure in MTP HPPO Manufacturing Co., Ltd (MHPPO). Effective immediately, Dow secures full ownership of MHPPO, which is located in Asia Industrial Estate, Rayong province, and produces propylene oxide for polyurethane manufacturing. MHPPO has a nameplate capacity of 390,000 tons per year.
