Esso (Thailand) Public Co., Ltd. together with Esso Employee Club and participating employees from ExxonMobil affiliates in Thailand joined volunteer activities by providing computers, scholarships and school facilities in educational support to students of Ban Narab School (Chon Kaset Suksakhan), Nanoi sub-district, Nan Province.
On this occasion Dr.Taweesak Bunluesin (7th left, standing front row), director, as well as Mr. Manoch Munjitjuntra, (4th left, standing front row) director and Retail Sales manager of Esso and Ms.Matana Sutatham (5th left, standing front row), president of Esso Employee Club jointly presented support in the amount of 472,368 Baht to Mr. Boontang Chaichan, the School principal (6th left, standing front row) to benefit school students who are in the kindergarden and elementary levels.
The support included scholarships totaling 210,000 baht and computer room with equipment equivalent to 247,600 baht (included 35 computers for knowledge skills development), clothing for students valued 10,000 baht and equipment for building painting activities valued 4,768 Baht.
The donated scholarships came from the joint program of Esso and Equitable Education Fund (EEF) in selection of students based on its database application to identify those at urgent risk of dropping out from schools per the concept of "Leaving No-One Behind". This is aimed to support needy students in time to pursue their academic endeavor. It is a continued effort following earlier donations to needy students in Phetchaburi province which Esso joined with EEF, Esso service station operators nationwide, business alliances, Esso Club and employees of Esso and ExxonMobil affiliates in Thailand on the fund raising activities.
