Nestle Holds Ceremony for Winners of “Nestle 3Es Award Challenge” and Reveals Trends for 2020 to Achieve a Healthy Lifestyle

Bangkok--12 Nov--ABM Connect Nestle (Thai) Ltd. recently held the awards ceremony for the winners of its 3Es Award Challenge who shared creative ideas based on the 3Es principles of eating, exercise, and emotions that people could use as part of their daily health and wellness routines. Mr. Victor Seah, Chairman and CEO of Nestle Indochina, presided over the awards event, together with Nestle (Thai) Ltd. executives Mr. Nophadol Siwabutr, Corporate Affairs Director, and Ms. Somrudee Boonhaijaroen, Communications & Marketing Services Director. The event also highlighted trends for 2020 to achieve a healthy lifestyle and provided insights on sustainable health for the new generation. The awards event was joined by Dr. Thidakarn Rujipattanakul, an anti-aging doctor certified by the American Board of Anti-Aging and Regenerative Medicine. She shared details about the latest trends to achieve a healthy lifestyle in 2020, such as a plant-based diet, functional training at home, stable emotions for a longer life, and easy tips to relieve stress. Three celebrities, Chidjun "Ploy" Hung, Boriboon "Tuck" Chanreung, and Napat "Aum" Noppasak, were also at the event to share techniques for healthy eating, exercise, and emotions. Mr. Victor Seah, Chairman and CEO of Nestle Indochina, said, "The Nestle 3Es Award Challenge is an activity under the Nestle Active Thailand 2019 campaign, which aims to inspire Thais to make good life simple by focusing on the 3Es, which are eating, exercise, and emotions. The campaign is also in line with the government's public health policy of encouraging Thais to live a healthy lifestyle. Today is a very special occasion as Nestle gives awards to those who understand the value of a healthy lifestyle by following the 3Es principles. I hope this activity will encourage everyone to start taking care of their health, starting at home, for better living. The challenge also reinforces Nestle's Purpose of enhancing quality of life and contributing to a healthier future." The Nestle 3Es Award Challenge had excellent feedback, with over 3,800 consumers participating. Nine winning submissions were selected in the three categories. Each winner received a cash prize plus a one-of-a-kind trophy specially designed to reflect the concept of that winner's submission. The Nestle 3Es Award Challenge was also supported by Dr. Satit Pitutecha, Deputy Minister of Public Health, who is a great role model for an active lifestyle and making exercise a part of daily life. With a little effort, it is not difficult to enjoy a healthy life. The Nestle Active Thailand 2019 campaign is inspiring Thais to be more conscious about eating, exercise, and emotions, which are key factors for better health, through efforts that can be started easily at home to ensure healthy living as we enter into 2020.
