Thailand moves onto hosts the La Maison Cointreau International 2019 for the first time – the Competition to select the best bartender in the Asia-Pacific region that will take place on 11 – 13 November 2019. A top tier selection of some 15 of the best bartenders in the world will gather in Thailand to compete over this year's trophy. The final of the competition will be the La Maison Cointreau signature challenge "The Night Markets" on 13 Nov 2019 at Studio 9, Show DC, Bangkok, Thailand
Mr.Kittipat Chaiyakul, Marketing Director for Remy Cointreau, reveals "This year Thailand is honored to host the La Maison Cointreau International 2019, the competition to select the best bartender in the Asia-Pacific region. A top tier selection from 15 countries come to compete over this year's trophy including Australia, Cambodia, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Japan, Malaysia, Myanmar, New Zealand, Philippines, Singapore, South Korea, Taiwan, Vietnam, and including "Pongkorn Rueangchan" the winner of La Maison Cointreau Thailand 2019, representative of Thailand.
La Maison Cointreau International 2019 will take place on 11 – 13 November 2019. The first day, there is the opening blind challenge at Mikkeller, Bangkok. Competitors will be tasked with creating a unique cocktail, without any prior knowledge as to the ingredients they will be using, the theme of the cocktails, or the inspiration they must draw from. This blind round will push the contestant's creativity and challenge their improvisational skills. On the second day, competitors will work with Islay's only at Patom Organic Cafe, Nakhon Pathom province."

Hawker markets, food stalls, delicious drinks, and street food are scattered around the region. Each country is celebrated for its unique contributions to this international landscape. So the final of the competition will be the La Maison Cointreau signature challenge "The Night Markets" on 13 November 2019 at Studio 9, Show DC, Bangkok. Their challenge will be to not only create and serve a cocktail to a thirsty public, but to design, decorate, and build out your own night market stall. Given a raw stall, and it is up to them to create an experience at that stall. Their design and flair in transforming the stall will be a big part of the competition. As with most night market, they will be entertaining the thirsty public and serving over 100 trade guests during our grand final. The Champion (Overall winner), Tom Lui of CLOSET (Taipei, Taiwan) scored the highest in total, becoming the International Champion of La Maison Cointreau International 2019
