In cooperation between YANMAR S.P. CO., LTD. and Bank for Agriculture and Agricultural Cooperatives, YANMAR's vice-marketing manager, Thatchapon Shawinthanachoti, along with Nan province branch assistant manager Nopphadon Kheowsombat, and YANMAR authorized dealer in Nan province, Weerachai Torangkoon joins together in opening "The 8th Football Clinic". This campaign aims to provide a chance for children from agricultural families in training their football skills with coaches from BG Pathum United Football Club and Cerezo Osaka. Further, the campaign also funds scholarship from Yamaoka Hanasaka Academy. In this event, held recently, 120 young Thai boys participated at Nan Arena Football Field, Nan province.
YANMAR has been holding the "Football Clinic" since 2013, and this year marks the 8th consecutive year of the campaign. This campaign prioritizes Thai youths who have excellent academics results, and a passion for football but lack financial support. Through this campaign, these youths are able to get an equal chance in competing with other children from other areas. So far, the campaign has been held in Chiang Mai, Nakhon Ratchasima, Surin, Phitsanulok, Sakon Nakhon, Chaiyaphum, Udon Thani, Ubon Ratchathani, and Nan. The total number of Thai youths that have participated to date comes to over 3,300 children. Further, children that show high football skill, and aptitude have a chance to be recruited to train with coaches from top football leagues. Even more, children so recruited may also be offered the chance to join Cerezo Osaka in Japan and BG Pathum United Football Club as official football players.Throughout the last 8 years, as part of this campaign, YANMAR also funds scholarship from Yamaoka Hanasaka Academy to 105 children, worth 7,500,000 baht. Some of the children have gone on to achieve their dreams of becoming professional footballers.
This is one of the campaigns from YANMAR that aims to aid Thai youths in achieving their dreams and gain access to the world of sports by providing a chance to train their football skills with coaches from highly regarded football clubs. In the future, YANMAR will continue to hold other campaigns forward inorder to support Thai farmers and youths in achieving a better life.
