CUEL Limited has been verified for its excellent performance in Environment Management System (EMS) and Occupational Health & Safety Management System (OHSMS) in accordance with TUV Nord ISO 14001:2015 and ISO 45001:2018.
Ms. Meegan Abella, General Manager – Operations, and Mr. Kittikorn Kitvijit, Health Environment and Safety Manager, represented CUEL Limited in receiving the ISO Certificates from Ms. Saowalak Thongsong, Head of Certification SEA and Ms. Anongrat Chotikaprakal, Customer Services and Sale Manager.
Environment Management System (EMS) (ISO 14001:2015) reflects CUEL's commitment to operate its business with regards to environmental stewardship to minimise environmental impacts from its operation through promoting environmental awareness within its workforce, selecting professional vendors to handle hazardous waste disposal, launching energy saving campaigns consistently, and improving its resource management through reuse and recycle.
Becoming part of the core organisational culture, CUEL also places strong emphasis on Occupational Health & Safety Management System (OHSMS) as it believes that all work-related incidents can be prevented and desires to see all levels of personnel return home safely. The company implements preventative measures to promote and protect health and safety of all employees.CUEL provides Personal Protective Equipment to all employees relevant to their responsibilities, gives its workforce essential training before working, undertakes risk assessment at the operation site periodically, and fosters safety awareness among employees through "Behavior Based Safety" concept which contributing to the achievement of 12 million man-hours without a lost time incident on 18 November 2019.
