Central Embassy recently welcomed the Chinese New Year 2020 by hosting the "Central Embassy Chinese New Year Festival 2020" in the theme of "The Chinese Playground", a fun and exciting concept that reflects the year of the energetic and joyful rat. The decorations and activities in the event were inspired by the flourishing 60s which has been conveyed through the adaptation of traditional and contemporary Chinese art and culture.
Featuring many spectacular performances including: the "Golden Dragon God", acrobatic lion performances, and 9 colourful auspicious lions, the opening ceremony captured the cheerful aspect of the start of the new year at the Front entrance of Central Embassy. These three special shows will also be performing on the 25th January 2020 from 12PM to 1PM and from 6PM to 7PM. Furthermore, there will be plenty of other activities during the 23rd to 26th January 2020. Be sure to meet all 9 of our colourful and auspicious lions while you are walking around Central Embassy as they will be making their way around the shopping centre to bless everyone.

From the delightful Tea Room by 103 Bed & Brews, a Chinese-style Pop-up Cafe serving special drinks and desserts exclusively for this event; the colorful display of lanterns and shadow play reflecting Chinese art and culture at the Light and Shadow exhibit; Family Portrait photo session; and a Chinaware Painting Workshop (limited to 300 tickets).
