Rajamangala University of Technology Tawan-ok (RMUTTO), Huawei Technologies (Thailand) Co., Ltd. and Fintechinno Co., Ltd. recently signed an MOU to collaborate on a joint education and digital workforce development project in the EEC. The MoU, entitled "Technology and Innovation-Driven EEC – HDC and University", aims to support Thailand's basic and higher education sectors through knowledge sharing and investment in innovative projects with educational institutions. Bringing new tools and solutions to the EEC, the partnership will improve students' digital skills and help them excel in the international arena.
Under this MoU, Huawei Technologies and Fintechinno will collaborate to provide RMUTTO with digital infrastructure and ecosystems including the "Cloud Data Center for Education", "Distance Learning System" and "Smart Energy Management Solutions". Local and international experts, provided by Huawei and Fintechinno, will share their insights on how to support the S-Curve industries in the EEC. RMUTTO will recruit university students as well as lecturers in the community to participate in the training program. This joint effort to prepare the students for the innovation-driven era aims to meet the rising demand for highly-skilled workforce in the EEC, in line with the government's efforts to boost the country's competitiveness through education.
