Mr. Y. Muramatsu, president of Toyota Motor Thailand Co., Ltd. disclosed that Toyota Motor Thailand and Toyota Motor Corporation have long prepared for this campaign in researchingand developing every CKD and local parts.
This kind of warranty is regarded the first time of Toyota assembly plant in Asia which can ensure the global quality in terms of assemblingand parts component. The campaign coversthe warranty of all system such as engine, transmission, suspension and brake system, electrical system as well as body parts, except for limited utilizing period such as battery and tyre.
The new warranty condition of 3 years or 100,000 kms (depending on which ever come first) of Toyota Motor Thailand rendered to customers is one of the best which Toyota offer to customers such as Japan and America.
This incentives do not only testify global quality of Toyota vehicles but also share the burden of customers' maintenance expenses.
Mr. Y. Muramatsu also furthers that apart fromfree warranty of 3 years or 100,000 kms., Toyota extends period of free-maintenance-check from 3 times 20,000 kms. to 6 times 50,000 kms. Those are 1,000 kms., 10,000 kms., 20,000 kms., 30,000 kms., 40,000 kms., and 50,000 kms .
This campaign is valid for only vehicles manufactured or imported by Toyota Motor Thailand Co., Ltd. and becomes effective as from September 21, 2000.
