Mr. Morikazu Chokki, President and CEO, Mitsubishi Motors (Thailand) Co., Ltd. (the 2 nd from left) handed over ventilators, Personal Protective Equipment, and N95 masks to Dr. Somkiat Lalitwongsa, Director of Rajavithi Hospital (the 3 rd from left). The handover was also joined by Mr. Egathi Rattana-Aree, Executive Vice President, Human Resources and General Administration Unit (the 1 st from right) and Mr. Sarote Maartlert, Vice President, Sales Unit and Network Improvement Unit (the 1 st from left)
The donation is under “Mitsubishi Motors Save Doctors, Save Lives, Fight Against COVID-19” to support 6 hospitals in 5 provinces, and Disaster Relief Center, Royal Thai Air Force to facilitate their operations in the fight against COVID-19.
The initiative funded 7 units of ventilator, 1,400 units of high-quality personal protective equipment or PPE and 4,500 units of N95 mask. The COVID-19 relief effort was also contributed by employees’ donation, and THB 1,000 from every Mitsubishi car purchase during April 1 – 30, 2020.
