Mitsubishi Motors (Thailand) Co., Ltd. has continued the COVID-19 relief efforts through more than THB 3 million contribution in response to the critical needs for medical and protective equipment. In collaboration with its dealer network, the company swiftly delivered the packages to 6 hospitals in 5 provinces, and Disaster Relief Center, Royal Thai Air Force to facilitate their operations in the fight against COVID-19.
“Mitsubishi Motors Save Doctors, Save Lives, Fight Against COVID-19” funded 7 units of ventilator, 1,400 units of high-quality personal protective equipment or PPE, and 4,500 units of N95 mask. The initiative was also contributed by employees’ donation, and THB 1,000 from every Mitsubishi car purchase during April 1 – 30, 2020.
Following the handover at Laemchabang Hospital and Rajavithi Hospital, Mr. Morikazu Chokki, President and CEO, Mitsubishi Motors (Thailand) Co., Ltd. To facilitate healthcare professionals in Phuket, the company in collaboration with V Group Mitsuautosale (Phuket) and Tiansin Motors (Phuket) has completed the deliveries to Patong Hospital and Thalang Hospital.
Mitsubishi Motors Thailand’s contribution is a reflection of its commitment to its corporate social responsibility’s vision “To contribute and grow with Thai society”. With a key focus on public health and in the face of the pandemic, in addition to this donation, the company will continue to monitor the situation and deploy additional initiatives to help tackle the pandemic.
