Bangkok--30 Apr--Gushcloud Thailand Global digital talent and marketing group Gushcloud International (“Gushcloud”) has tapped on 60 talents in its international roster across 10 countries to participate in the World Health Organization’s Safe Hands initiative. Earlier in March, Gushcloud activated 10 of its offices worldwide to onboard local talents to support the World Health Organization in its efforts to raise awareness and education on proper hand hygiene. The Safe Hands Challenge is a public health-focused viral challenge aimed at educating people around the globe about best practices for hand-washing. Talents participate by filming a video of themselves washing their hands, and posting it to social media. A total of 60 talents took part in the initiative, posting their videos on platforms like Instagram, TikTok and YouTube. These talents came from the United States, Australia, Singapore, South Korea, Japan, the Philippines, Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand and Vietnam. Collectively, the participating talents have a following of over 6,512,600 followers on their platforms. Prominent names include Johnny Valentine (United States), Jamie Chua (Singapore), Nemani Nadolo (Australia), Bambi Del Rosario (Philippines), Jestinna Kuan (Malaysia), Phuong Tam (Vietnam), Marcell Darwin (Indonesia) and also include influencers from Thailand namely Chayin Prasongkhuarmdi (@chayin_pskd), Panicha Methavichitchai (@peachhypeach) and Sirinapa Chayakornkijrak (@beauubty) “At Gushcloud, we recognize the reach that our global talent pool has. In these unprecedented times, we wanted to tap on their influence to amplify important and meaningful messages. As a leader in the digital talent sphere, we are all about creating positive influence,” said Group CEO Althea Lim. “When the World Health Organization launched its Safe Hands initiative, we mobilised our offices to work alongside talents and influencers to localize the content and help disseminate proper hand hygiene practices to their respective audiences,” she added. In its other Covid-19 efforts, Gushcloud’s content production division, GC Studios, rolled out a successful live-streamed comedy fundraiser, dubbed “Def Comedy Jam: Healing Through Laughter”. The star-studded event, hosted by comedian Cedric the Entertainer, raised both awareness and aid for the communities affected by the pandemic. It also drew more than 1 million viewers across Facebook and Twitch, and featured big names like Usher, Tiffany Hadish, Marlon Wayans and Mike Epps. Making their first Def Comedy Jam appearances were GC Studios' talents Reggie Couz, Kellye Hardy and Kmoore The Goat.
