People in Khlong Toey slum received 200 survival sets of consumer goods & medical products along with knowledge of the proper hand washing techniques and wearing mask correctly by B. Braun (Thailand) Ltd. Organised in collaboration with Duang Prateep Foundation, the project aim to continue protecting and improving the health of people around Thailand through this COVID-19 outbreak.
Considering the economic crisis that has affected people leading to people losing jobs and with no income for months, employees of B. Braun (Thailand) Ltd. contributed to buy consumer goods to donate along with medical products (Softa-Gel Hand Sanitizer and Face Masks) supported by the company. The community was also taught hand hygiene and proper hand washing techniques and proper wearing and disposal of face mask.
Mr. Sayan Roy, Managing Director of B. Braun Thailand Ltd said, "B. Braun has a commitment and responsibility to the community and we recognized that COVID-19 situation is impacting some people significantly, therefore B. Braun (Thailand) Ltd followed our company vision of protecting and improving the health of people around the World to support Duang Prateep Foundation. I am also happy that this was not only a company initiative but was also supported by the employees with their contributions.”
Ms. Prateep Ungsongtham Hata said, “As the COVID-19 pandemic impacts Thailand and all over the world, people and families who are from low-income are affected more. This project supports both consumer goods & medical products and knowledge of protecting themselves from the scourge. We would like to thank the B. This is one of the social responsibility project to protect and improve the health of Thailand people through this COVID-19 outbreak.
