The Stock Exchange of Thailand has enhanced information transfer functions in SET Listed Company Notification and Key Operation called “SETLink” system. As part of SET’s continuous plan to upgrade the infrastructure to serve market participants, the interim dividend payment information will now be in template format and can be automatically generated in PDF file, as well as enabling listed companies to simultaneously submit bilingual financial statements to streamline process and lower duplicates, make it more convenient for listed firms and ensure investors will access to quality information in a timely manner. SET also plans to step up improving information submission for listed companies.
SET’s Senior Executive Vice President, Head of Issuer & Listing Division Manpong Senanarong said that SET places importance on upgrading service efficiency to cater to market participants’ demand, in line with SET’s Grow with Efficiency strategy. SET created and developed the SETLink system which was unveiled in 2019. SETLink has been instrumental in providing end-to-end process services to listed companies, spanning from information disclosure and securities registrar systems, gathering new announcements and trainings to whatever listed firms must be realized to equip them with crucial information for all situations.

Listed companies’ and investors’ advantages from this recent lean-agile process are as follows”
Streamlining process and reducing duplicates in submitting information, and facilitating convenience to listed companies’ employees in filing information in related template at the same time.Improving information quality by adjusting template for interim dividend payment announcement in a new format which can be spontaneously turned into PDF file, making it a single source of information, allowing it to be sent to securities registrar system and enabling investors to get information for a decision making in an accurate and timely manner.Raising convenience to listed firms in filing out financial statements in both Thai and English language on the same screen as well as functioning the system with notification system to help them submit the accurate information.
After the first phase of simplifying information submission process has been applicable, SET will extend developing information submission format to other areas including information regarding recapitalization,” added Manpong.
The SETLink system is vital in centralizing various types of services for listed companies, consisting of news, announcements, relevant regulations, manuals, activities calendar and knowledge development, e-learning, training, seminars as well as related working systems, including information submission system, securities registrar and internal corporate meeting arrangement system.
