KTC harvests and processes food with hearing impaired students as part of the 2nd year “Education for Self Empowerment and Sustainable Growth” project.

Recently, ?KTC? or Krungthai Card Public Company Limited, jointly with a team of volunteer employees, took hearing impaired students from Thungmahamek School for the Deaf to harvest oyster mushrooms, phoenix mushrooms, and pink oyster mushrooms from the mushroom farming house within the Thungmahamek School for the Deaf. Participants jointly developed appetizer recipes, including mushroom spring rolls and fried bun with tom yum and mushroom filling, as part of the 2nd year ?Education for Self Empowerment and Sustainable Growth? project. KTC passed on knowledge on agricultural practices to earn a living to Thungmahamek School for the Deaf, which have been included in the Secondary Education Year 2 - 5 course of studies (40 hearing impaired and 5 intellectually disabled students) with a accumulated duration of 12 weeks long. The activity took place at Thungmahamek School for the Deaf in the Sathorn district.
