Central Food Retail launches LOOKS at Future Park Rangsit, its first standalone beauty store Aiming for Generations Y and Z

Central Food Retail Company Limited, under Central Retail, is making a move in the beauty store segment with the opening of LOOKS, a center for skincare and popular Asian-style cosmetics from Korea and Japan. It is the first branch in a standalone format on Level 1 of Future Park Rangsit, in the Central zone. Under the strapline "Discover your best look", the store provides a beauty experience for customers in a distinctive format, with a full range of over 5,000 health and beauty product lines in every category. This includes the latest hot items on social media, and there is no need to pre-order, catering to every lifestyle of the young men and women of Generations Y and Z.

Stephane Coum, Chief Executive Officer Food of Central Food Retail Company Limited under Central Retail, talked about the launch of the first standalone LOOKS store. "The current Health & Beauty Care market is rapidly transforming, with the key customer segments driving the industry being Generations Y and Z. This group is hungry for information and comparing products, and considers value and suitability for themselves before making purchase decisions. The result is that product demand and shopping behavior in this segment has become more personalized. Thus we have opened LOOKS, our first standalone beauty store, to fully cater to this customer need. We have chosen a site on Level 1 in the Central zone of Future Park Rangsit, a large shopping mall. The store is specifically targeted at the young people of generations Y and Z who care about health and beauty, and so it has been decorated in the trending shade of Millennial Pink. Nowadays, this color is not just cute, but also imbued with chic and attitude. This is coupled with Rose Gold to make the main color theme of LOOKS, a smart and stylish look to deliver personalized beauty choices to customers, under the Millennial concept of 'Discover your best look?.

"The first standalone LOOKS store will highlight hit skincare and cosmetic products from Korea and Japan in five major categories, comprising over 5,000 product lines. They cover every customer group, from hair care, skincare, makeup and vitamins to hot products on social media and exclusive products from Korea.

These can be selected with no need to pre-order. We are focusing on products in the skincare segment, to emphasize simple basics, and because all consumers give this segment the highest priority. Thus we have provided a Skincare Bar and a Skincare Lounge for customers to try out product with the advice of our Beauty Advisor to 'Discover their best look?. Product displays are by category for easy shopping, with complete product information helping customers to understand the products. Meanwhile, there is a special launch promotion of a free LOOKS Beauty Bag worth 250 baht for a threshold spend of 600 baht per receipt. As well as LOOKS standalone stores, we are also opening another 14 LOOKS outlets as Shop-in-Shops at Tops Market stores."
