The fourth NTT Startup Challenge offers startups in Southeast Asia the opportunity to scale and leverage an alliance with NTT Ltd.
NTT Ltd., a leading global technology services company, today announced the first virtual NTT Startup Challenge 2020 themed Smart World through Digital Transformation. NTT Startup Challenge is in its fourth year running, with this year?s event offering startups from Singapore, Thailand, Malaysia, Vietnam, and Indonesia the chance to access funding opportunities and connect with valued clients in the NTT Group.
NTT Startup Challenge 2020 takes place on 25 November 2020, where 20 startups from industries such as Artificial Intelligence, FinTech, HealthTech, EdTech and more, will present their ideas to a panel that includes Venture Capitals, Startup?s CEO and Executives from NTT Group. The top three ideas will win a cash award and an exclusive invitation to the 'Startup-Enterprise Matching Event' that gives them access to global investors and corporates via NTT Group?s investor network, and a chance to connect with NTT Group?s strategic partners.
Yasunori Kinebuchi, NTT Startup Challenge programme founder says, ?We are excited to pivot this year?s event into a virtual format, opening up to more outstanding startups in Southeast Asia. Since the commencement of registrations in September 2020, we have seen over 500 startup applicants from a variety of verticals. These include Gaming, Artificial Intelligence, Fintech, Shipment & Delivery, Health-Tech, BioTech & MedTech, Edtech, E-Fitness, Salestech, CRM & Work Collaboration Tech, and E-commerce. Across this wide spectrum of industries, we look forward to the fresh ideas and innovative business models, with our hope being that these ideas will inspire and accelerate the startup ecosystem in Southeast Asia.?
Apart from the main event of pitch-offs, the event will host keynote speakers from top global investors and startup figures who will share their knowledge about innovation and future economic landscape ? particularly in the Asia Pacific ? all on the virtual platform.
