Cloud Computing Solution Donated to Support KMUTT?s Teaching and Learning under Huawei ICT Academy

Huawei Technologies (Thailand) Co., Ltd. signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with King Mongkut?s University of Technology Thonburi (KMUTT) to develop and enhance knowledge and skills in the field of Artificial Intelligence (AI). This MoU between the educational institution and the tech giant was signed by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Suvit Saetia, President of King Mongkut?s University of Technology Thonburi and Mr. Jason Peng, Vice President of Enterprise Business Group, Huawei Technologies (Thailand) Co., Ltd.

Under the MOU, Huawei will collaborate with KMUTT to support and enhance AI teaching for students, lecturers and staff in the university. They will also mutually conduct research and development projects focusing on the innovative use of future technologies, such as Artificial Intelligence (AI), for the benefit of Thai society. This partnership will help nurture and lay the foundation of skills and knowledge to ensure students? readiness in adapting skills for their work in the future, as well as responding to the demand for skilled workforce in the emerging markets in order to accelerate innovations and promote the use of AI in Thailand.

Following the MOU signing ceremony, Mr. Jason Peng delivered Huawei Cloud Computing lab equipment to Assoc. Prof. Dr. Suvit Saetia, to support the teaching of KMUTT under the Huawei ICT Academy.
