Grab Thailand led by Chantsuda Thananitayaudom, second right, Country Marketing Head, and Maythinee Anavachkul, far left, Head of Bike-Hailing Operations and Mini-GC, recently organized a social contribution activity under the GrabStar programme, allowing over 100 driver- and delivery-partners, executives and staff to show their volunteer spirits and share happiness with underprivilege children.
Held at the House of Blessing Foundation which takes care of over 170 prisoners' children in Bangkok, the event provided an opportunity for the children to be trained on CPR and first aid conducted by Samitivej hospital, learn how to bake pineapple pie so as to generate extra income, and enjoy fun games and recreation activities that foster teamwork and unity. In addition, Grab made a cash donation and provided the foundation survival bags containing dry food and necessity good worth 50,000 Baht in total.
GrabStar is another initiative under Grab's commitment "Grab for Good," which focuses on promoting and improving the quality of life for people throughout Southeast Asia. The programme aims at building engagement and strengthening a closer relationship with driver-partners through various activities under 4 key pillars namely Social contribution, Teamwork, Appreciation and Recreation.
