AIS partners Rojana Industrial Park, gearing up for EEC  Full speed ahead with 5G digital infrastructure to level up manufacturing

AIS is rolling out its strategic plan to deploy digital infrastructure as a weapon for robust growth in the Thai industrial sector. At latest, the company has partnered with Rojana Industrial Park to install a fiber optic network at industrial parks in the Eastern Economic Corridor (EEC), which comprise Rojana Pluak Daeng Industrial Park located in Rayong, Rojana Chonburi (Bowin) Industrial Park and Rojana Laem Chabang Industrial Estate located in Chonburi. The deal will enable high speed internet and high quality mobile phone coverage with the capabilities of 5G technology and a range of Smart Solutions. These will level up management and boost manufacturing capabilities to upgrade the Thai industrial sector with robust growth, making Thailand a key economic hub in Asia and creating long-term investment opportunities.

Tanapong Ittisakulchai, Chief Enterprise Business Officer (CEBO) at Advanced Info Services Plc. (AIS) noted, "Over the last few months, we have been working with a variety of sectors to support them with digital technology as a key weapon to drive secure progress in the Thai industrial sector. We believe that digital technology and innovation is not just a trend, but will become an essential differentiator to expand capabilities in the business sector for it to seize competitive opportunities, and be a major incentive for global investors. Digital infrastructure in particular will be of massive benefit in efficiently transforming management, the manufacturing sector, and services. This work is now on line to support our project with Rojana Industrial Park to manage fiber optic networks and digital solutions in three industrial estates.
