On 28 November 2020, Dacon Trading presented our products and held a special promotional event to over 2,000 Thai people from various rescue teams, government agencies, the private sector and volunteers, all providing services covering disasters Nationwide all over Thailand, under the annual project name "The 4th filling water into the glass" organized by CKK Fire and Rescue Training Center in Nakhon Pathom province.
The event objective is to educate all rescue teams to be safe during their rescue work, and to develop new knowledge from experienced people and learn the new equipment in high technology. The training was held in two session's (morning and afternoon) for a total of 6 training stations.
Dacon Trading is the exclusive distributor for the American Company "Pelican" and the German Company" Skylotec".
For the first time in joining this event, we selected the special product model from these two Companies, which was suitable for all the types of fire, work at height and confined space rescues the teams would be training in. Firstly, the Pelican explosionproof flashlights, model 3415, 2755 and 1965, all of which are professional grade multi-task lighting tools. And for working safely at heights or confined spaces, the Skylotec Harnesses, Conrest kit, Triboc Set and the Milan with the Milan drill, all items which make Skylotec the worldwide leader in safety at heights and for innovative products.
In the morning session, Mr Robert Mann, the Business Development Manager for Dacon Trading, and the Skylotec product specialist in Thailand, supervised the Skylotec Milan demonstration at the training tower and the Skylotec Conrest kit at the confined space training station.
At the same time, other DT staff manned our booth and presented and sold our products with the exclusive one time offer for this event only.
In the afternoon, beside the selling, we ran the lucky draw activity to pick the lucky winner who won the fantastic and popular model Pelican 3415M flashlight, before going back to Rayong with very happy faces.
Sandy (CEO) said "We were very honoured to join the event and to be able to showcase our products to all the participants that attended. It was a pleasure to gain and to share knowledge with the rescue teams. We hope to continue to be a part of the ongoing development and strive towards a safer working and personal life for us all."
