BAFS Intech Company Limited, a design and assembly aviation refueling vehicles and aviation ground service equipment provider, and a subsidiary of Bangkok Aviation Fuel Services Public Company Limited (BAFS Group), recently launched the "EV-HDC17LPM." This aviation fuel truck, an electric hydrant cart using a 100% electric power system, highlights the company's eco-friendly business practices and policy to reduce greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions. The model is currently in use at Don Mueang International Airport.
The EV-HDC17LPM electric hydrant cart is comprised of an electric tractor and a refueling cart that fully uses a 100% electric power system, making it more compact delivering greater maneuverability to refuel all types of aircrafts. The model delivers a fuel flow rate of 1,700 liters per minute and net zero GHG emissions, helping reduce the consumption of diesel in operational activities by 6,300 liters per year or an equivalent amount of 15 tons of carbon dioxide per year. BAFS Intech deployed this model for its refueling service at Don Mueang International Airport as of 10 November 2020.
