CP Foods receives honorary plaques for supporting Thailand in a fight against AFS

Agriculture Minister Chalermchai Sri-on granted a honorary plaque to Charoen Pokphand Foods PCL (CP Foods) for its monetary supports on a national African Swine Fever (ASF) prevention campaign, resulting Thailand the only ASF-free country in the region.

The plaques are also given to three CP Foods' executive members in person as a token of appreciation for their dedicated services, including;

Dr.Damnoen Chaturavittawong, DVM., Senior Vice President - Swine Veterinary Service Department of CP Foods, as the advisor to the Swine Raisers Association of Thailand (TSRAT)

Dr. Raphee Panyathong, DVM., Vice President of CP Foods, as TSRAT's coordinator of the Northern Region

and Dr. Tawat Pongpun, DVM., Assistant Vice President of CP Foods, as TSRAT's coordinator of the Northeastern Region

The award ceremony was hosted by The National Swine Farmers Association, Swine Raiser Association of Thailand and the Thai Swine Business Development Association in honor of government agencies, private organizations and persons who have made tremendous supports to keep ASF out of Thailand.
