Goodyear (Thailand) Public Company Limited announced the appointment of Mr. Randeep Singh Kanwar as Managing Director of Goodyear Thailand effective 1 June 2021.
Mr. Kanwar succeeds Mr. Luca Crepaccioli who has recently been appointed General Manager UUHP Europe Middle East & Africa.
Mr. Kanwar has 22 years of extensive experience in several industries. He joined Goodyear India in 2008 as a National Sales Manager in charge of passenger car radials and the light truck business. In 2013, he was stationed in Kuala Lumpur to take care of the consumer product business unit (PBU) in ASEAN. He then moved to Shanghai in 2017 to oversee Goodyear Asia-Pacific as Director of Commercial OE & Market Development. In 2018, Mr. Kanwar served as Managing Director of Goodyear Indonesia before taking on his position in Thailand.
Mr. Kanwar has considerable technical and commercial experience in operations, sales, marketing strategy and business development. His noteworthy achievements include implementing strategic and growth plans across Goodyear products, increasing revenues and profits, bringing stronger corporate visibility through effective campaigns, and strengthening Goodyear's competitive position in the market.
Under Mr. Kanwar's leadership as Managing Director, Goodyear Thailand's operations will be reinforced across its commercial, consumer and export businesses, as well as its core organization continuing to equip the company in building on its important successes going forward.
