Ascott International Management in Thailand & Laos is delighted to announce the new appointment of Mr. Suthiroj (Chris) Sathitpornkitti as Director of Business Development and Mr. Bernard Siew as General Manager for Somerset Ekamai Bangkok.
Mr. Sathitpornkitti has over a decade of experience working for various international and regional hospitality firms, ranging from Best Western, Dusit International (Dusit Thani), The Standard and Six Senses to start-ups such as Kokotel, primarily in business development functions to expand and grow the footprints and businesses of such brands and operators throughout the region.
Mr. Siew has two decades of experience in various roles for several of the industry's most recognisable hotel brands, including Hyatt, Conrad, Outrigger, Pan Pacific, and Raffles. He joined Ascott in 2008 and has held progressing roles in the Ascott Headquarters in Singapore and Ascott properties across Indonesia.
Mr. Siew holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from the University of Hawaii and Mr. Sathitpornkitti has a Bachelor of Business Management from Bangalore University.
