FedEx Express (FedEx), a subsidiary of FedEx Corp. (NYSE: FDX) and one of the world's largest express transportation companies, announced an alliance with Visa, a world leader in digital payments, to assist local businesses including small-and-medium enterprises (SMEs) in Thailand in expanding their reach to overseas markets.
Through the alliance, FedEx is offering up to 60% discount1 off shipping rates to Visa Commercial debit and credit cardholders, including Business card for SMEs and Corporate card for corporations in Thailand. Available now until December 31, 2024, the discount is applicable to a wide variety of services, including FedEx International Priority(R) Express, FedEx International Priority(R), FedEx International Economy, FedEx International Priority(R) Freight, and FedEx International Economy Freight, enabling customers to benefit from fast and reliable logistics solutions connecting more than 220 countries and territories worldwide.
"This program is one of the many ways we are supporting the growth ambitions of Thai businesses, especially SMEs which account for 99.5% of all businesses and 70% of the country's workforce, according to the Trade Policy and Strategy Office (TPSO)2," said Sasathorn Phaspinyo, managing director of FedEx Express Thailand.
