Thonglor Thai Cuisine welcomes the arrival of summer with "Khao Chae" (chilled rice in jasmine-scented water), a traditional Thai delicacy made with fine quality ingredients. This seasonal treat is now available to pre-order for delivery in luxurious packaging (a minimum of 3 sets/order). Pre-orders are accepted from today until 30 June 2024 (a minimum of 3 days in advance required) and the delivery will start from 8 April 2024 onwards (or until further notice).
The Thonglor Thai Cuisine Khao Chae comes with Thai jasmine rice soaked in chilled jasmine-scent water, savory and sweet condiments including crispy shrimp paste balls, steamed Thai shallots stuffed with minced pork and salted fish, stuffed bell peppers with minced shrimp and crab meat, golden egg threads, shredded pork, sauteed sweet and sour fish, and stir-fried sweet pickled radish, vegetables and fruits. There are two options available including
"Chilled Thai Summer Rice Pinto Set" (1,999 for 2 persons) and "Chilled Thai Summer Rice" (1,299 baht for 2 persons). (Prices are inclusive of 7% VAT).
The "Chilled Thai Summer Rice Pinto Set" comes in a white 4-tier tiffin box beautifully adorned with flower garland, while the "Chilled Thai Summer Rice" comes in a set of four white boxes garnished with gray mesh fabric and ribbon. Customers will also receive a complimentary watermelon with dried fish flakes when ordering any set of this traditional Thai summer treat. Delivery fee will be calculated based on the actual distance using Grab Car or Lalamove.
