JASPAL GROUP, Thailand's renowned leader in fashion and lifestyle, commemorates its 77th anniversary with the launch of the "JASPAL GROUP Scholarship Program 2024" under the inspiring theme "The Power of Next." This groundbreaking initiative reaffirms the group's commitment to fostering the next generation of creative talents and driving sustainable growth within the fashion industry.
The scholarship program, now in its third consecutive year, beckons aspiring designers from universities nationwide to submit their visionary collections. Eligible applicants must be in their third year of undergraduate studies (about to enter their fourth year) in a program related to apparel design, fashion design, or textile design. Participants can submit sketches of an eight-piece collection on a mood board, under the "The Power of Next" concept, interpreting the fashion brands under the JASPAL GROUP, including JASPAL, MISTY MYNX, CC DOUBLE O, ROYAL IVY REGATTA, CPS CHAPS, LYN, lyn around, Jelly Bunny, and QUINN, through each individual's perspective, with design concept explanations. Submissions are open from now until April 19, 2024.
The five selected finalists will each receive a 100,000 baht scholarship and an internship opportunity, where they will gain practical experience working with renowned brands within the JASPAL GROUP, under the guidance of professional designers and fashion industry experts. This comprehensive experience will prepare the students for a successful career as future designers.
In a culminating showcase, the five scholarship recipients will bring their innovative visions to life through a fashion show, where they will unveil their full clothing collections. The designer whose collection best encapsulates the "Power of Next" concept will be honored with an additional 150,000 baht scholarship, further empowering their creative journey.
