According to data from the SCB Economic Intelligence Center (SCB EIC), Thailand's export growth is improving in 2024 in line with the global trade recovery and export-related production activities. In response to these trends, Siam Commercial Bank (SCB) has introduced a promotion campaign featuring a chance to win an exclusive tour package prize to Hong Kong for juristic person SMEs with sales in 2023 of not over 75 million baht and using SCB Transaction Banking (SCB Business Anywhere). The promotion offers ten 3-Day 2-Night Exclusive Trip to Hong Kong tour package prizes worth 150,000 baht for two, with a total value of 1.5 million baht. The tour program includes 5-star accommodation at the Peninsula Hong Kong, dining at Michelin-starred restaurants, and visits to three popular temples for prosperity.
Eligible clients are juristic persons with sales in 2023 of not over 75 million baht and using SCB Transaction Banking (SCB Business Anywhere) services with SCB to make outward and/or inward international remittance transactions between 1 March - 31 July 2024 (the promotion period). Eligible juristic persons will get one lucky draw entitlement for every 10,000 USD (or equivalent)/month. New juristic persons applying for SCB Business Anywhere services or existing SCB Business Anywhere clients making an outward or inward international remittance transaction for the first time during the promotion period (new juristic person clients) will get double lucky draw entitlements for every 10,000 USD in transactions (or equivalent)/month.
Special offers for juristic person importers and exporters with sales in 2023 of not over 75 million baht and using SCB Business Anywhere services and making outward and/or inward international remittance transactions are as follows:
- Special international remittance fees: Outward international remittance fees at 199 baht/transaction (from the regular 550 baht/transaction) and inward international remittance fees at 100 baht/transaction (from the regular 0.25% of the transaction amount and 200 baht/transaction minimum and 500 baht/transaction maximum).
- Special exchange rates
- For outward international remittance: A 0.05-baht discount for USD and a 0.08-baht discount for other currencies
- For inward international remittance: 0.05-baht on top for USD and 0.08-baht on top for other currencies
