CP Foods' Livestock Feed Business Awarded ISO 56002 Certification, Sets Benchmark for Innovation in Thailand

Charoen Pokphand Foods Public Company Limited (CP Foods) announces its livestock feed business has been awarded the ISO 56002 innovation management system certification, becoming the first multi-site certificate recipient in Thailand. This prestigious recognition was awarded by the Management System Certification Institute (MASCI) and signifies CP Foods' steadfast commitment to innovation and its strategic vision to become the sustainable "Kitchen of the World."

During the certification ceremony, Rewat Hathaisattayapong, CP Foods' Head of Feed Business, and other senior executives from the livestock feed division were presented with the certificate by Dr. Chavatip Chindavijak, Senior Vice President of MASCI. This accolade underscores CP Foods' role as a leader in innovation within the agricultural sector.

Mr. Rewat explained that adopting the ISO 56002 standards was a strategic move aimed at enhancing work processes and fostering a culture of continuous innovation across the company. This approach has already yielded significant benefits, as evidenced by the Bangna Km. 21 Feedmill, which was the first CP Foods unit to implement these standards in 2020. Following this, an additional 12 feed mill across Thailand have now also achieved certification.

"Our success is a testament to the robust standard system we have established, which allows for the transference of knowledge across generations, supporting the growth of our business partners and the broader livestock industry in Thailand. This international recognition confirms our leadership in the global animal feed market," he said.

CP Foods has placed a strong emphasis on building an innovative organizational culture. This includes initiatives like Feed Innovation Week, which serves as a platform for employees to showcase their projects and share knowledge. Furthermore, CP Foods is leveraging advanced technologies, such as Artificial Intelligence (AI), for projects like the AI Prediction End Products Price Forecast, enhancing demand forecasting and operational efficiency.

Additionally, through its CPF The NeXt Tech Show, the company disseminates cutting-edge AI and IoT innovations to farmers, helping them enhance their practices and achieve sustainable growth.

Dr. Chavatip Chindavijak commended CP Foods for its dedication to personnel development and innovation, which are evident across all its operations. "The multi-site certification not only demonstrates the potential and capability of CP Foods' 12 factories to manage innovation effectively but also their commitment to achieving sustainability goals," he added.

This recognition by MASCI is a milestone for CP Foods as it continues to drive forward its mission to secure food safety through innovative and sustainable practices.
