Summit Capital Leasing Co., Ltd. (SCAL) announces that following for more than 2 years as President & CEO, Takeharu Uematsu has on 2nd May 2024 tendered his 3-month resignation notice with effect on 31st July 2024.
SCAL Chairman, Yosuke Unigame commented "On behalf of the SCAL Board, I have regrettably accepted Mr. Uematsu's resignation. During his tenure he has demonstrated strong leadership and personal dedication for the benefit of SCAL and its stakeholders. Mr. Hideo (Leo) Nakajima, who is currently Chief Financial Officer of SCAL, will be appointed as an Acting President & CEO of SCAL. His appointment minimises disruption to the business and ensures that leadership of SCAL remains focused on delivering SCAL's operational and strategic agenda.

He has a deep understanding and passion for SCAL and has been fundamental to delivering SCAL's growth since his joining SCAL. He has extensive cross functional management experience.
