Bangkok, May 20, 2024 - MR. D.I.Y. Thailand, led by Mr. Arnupharp Kongmalai, Vice President of the Marketing Department, continues to improve the quality of life for Thai children and youths through the 6th Giving Kindness to Children activity under MR. D.I.Y. Cares project by donating items from MR. D.I.Y. stores and supported funds with a total value of 25,000 Baht to the Foundation for Slum Child Care under the Patronage of HRH Princess Galyani Vadhana Krom Luang Naradhiwas. The donation was received by a representative of the Foundation for Slum Child Care (House of Hope) at Soi On Nut 88.
Mr. Arnupharp Kongmalai, Vice President of the Marketing Department of MR. D.I.Y. Thailand stated, "MR. D.I.Y. aims to be a leading organisation that helps create a sustainable society. We not only focus on our business operations through store expansion to deliver quality products to people across Thailand, but we are also laying essential foundations in education and enhancing the quality of life for children and youth in Thai society through the 'Giving Kindness to Children' activity, which has been running for six consecutive years under the 'MR. D.I.Y. Cares'. This year, MR. D.I.Y. continues its commitment by supporting a lunch meal and donating items and educational materials from MR. D.I.Y. stores valued at a total of 10,000 Baht, along with an additional 15,000 Baht in funds, a total value of 25,000 Baht, to the Foundation for Slum Child Care (House of Hope). This contribution aims to support the Foundation for Slum Child Care in their efforts to take care of and improve the quality of life for young children aged 0-5 years living in the slum areas of Bangkok. The goal is to help these children to receive appropriate physical and mental development opportunities according to their age, enabling them to sustain themselves in Thai society in the future.
