Bangkok--Dec 16--PC & Associates Consulting — Pawana Techavimol Appointed as Marketing Manager to Focus on Developing the Thailand Market — Advanced Micro Devices, Inc. (NYSE:AMD), today announces the establishment of the Thailand Branch Office of AMD Far East Ltd. The new office is a result of the significant performance and expected continued growth of the Thailand market. Khun Pawana Techavimol has been appointed as Marketing Manager and will be responsible for driving the company’s business development and marketing efforts for AMD, including relationships with key customers and major Thai government initiatives. Pawana will report to David Lee, marketing manager, South Asia Pacific, AMD. Thailand has a PC consumption rate of 400,000 PCs per quarter , which is the highest rate among the ten countries that make up the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN).
